The Conscious Plate Blueprint

The Conscious Plate Blueprint is designed to finally give you the support you need to cook for yourself and loved ones on a regular basis without feeling overwhelmed. This program includes a private day-long intensive with Randy that is customized to your individual needs. Included in this program, if needed by the client, is an educational shopping trip that focuses on ingredients from both a culinary and healthful prospective.  We will also do an in depth analysis of your current eating habits and goals and give you a list of Randy's pantry basics and favorite kitchen equipment, recipes and more.

Whether you are trying to lose weight, have been told by a health care provider to avoid certain foods, struggle to get dinner on the table, want to learn how to eat and prepare more organic and sustainable foods or have other goals, this program will help you achieve them. Many people will tell you what to eat and even give you lists of ingredients. Randy will show you how to make the food delicious and how to do this quickly and easily on a regular basis. You'll learn a lot in this program AND you'll have a great time.

In this Blueprint, I incorporate the most important parts of my experience and education as a trained Chef with a background in health supportive cooking, a board certified health counselor, busy working parent and food lover.  We will focus on the skills, tools and knowledge that will set you on the path to change the way you eat forever.

Before my classes with Randy, I felt inadequate in the kitchen, especially with a family full of cooks. After only a one-day intensive with Randy, I hosted a dinner for 8, and I was complimented by the dinner I prepared. When I cook with Randy, I not only learn how to prepare delicious, healthy meals, but I have also become more savvy about understanding where my food comes from and how to be a more conscious consumer. Working with Randy is relaxing and fun, and extremely productive! After a one-day intensive, I learned how to shop, cook four different recipes, including desserts and drinks, and how to use what I already own in the kitchen. And even though Randy is a master cook with several years of culinary experience, I didn't feel intimidated in asking even basic questions, ranging from cutting techniques to selecting seasonal produce to best preserving food items. She also has helped set up our pantry. Cooking with Randy has been rewarding and educational, giving me deeper insight into how to create a healthier lifestyle for me and my family. - Angie Forero

Here's what you'll get:

  • An in-depth assessment for you to complete so we can focus on your current eating habits and goals, followed by a phone call with me so that we can plan our day to make the most of our time together.
  • A full day with me -  We will spend approximately 7 hours together and it will be customized to meet your needs. I will evaluate your pantry and kitchen equipment and make recommendations to improve your set up. We will go food shopping to stock your pantry so that you are prepared to make great tasting, health supportive food regularly. I will teach you why to choose certain items and why to avoid certain items.  Then we will cook. Everything will be tailored to your likes, dislikes and goals. Everything will be easy, quick, delicious and health supportive (It will be productive and will also be fun).
  • Plus, follow up support
  • A list of my pantry basics (my favorite ingredients) to use as a guide
  • A list of my essential kitchen equipment (it's not overwhelming)
  • Quick, Healthy and Delicious Recipes with suggested variations to keep it easy for you to eat well and avoid boredom
  • A 30-minute call with me to be scheduled within the 30 days that follow your day with me to support you in following through on your goals.
  • Unlimited email access to me during the 30 days that follow your day with me to get your questions answered and keep you on track.
